What does whistleblowing mean? “Whistleblowing" happens when a person (employee, collaborator, or supplier) reports a crime, a risk, or a dangerous situation in the work context that could cause damage to the company or to the people connected to it.
Which is the objective? The objective is to bring to light unlawful or irregular behaviors, making the process of reporting easy for the whistleblower (the reporter).
Can the whistleblower suffer retaliation? In Italy, this process is regulated by the Legislative Decree 24/2023, which governs both the right to report and the right of whistleblowers to not suffer retaliation.
How to report? D.B. Group has implemented an internal channel, including a dedicated platform, to facilitate whistleblowing in order to allow complaints for violations in the work environment.
