We are glad to announce the opening of the second D.B. Group office in Indonesia, located in Surabaya.
Surabaya is the capital of East Java Province. Its privileged location makes it a strategic hub for national and international shipments by road, sea and air. It also gives access to the hinterland of the island and the main trade routes between the Java Sea, the Indian Ocean, the Strait of Malacca and the Maluku Islands.
The city is served by one of the main ports of Asia: Tanjung Perak Port from which dozens of international shipping lines depart to serve the main Asian industrial centers like Singapore, Pusan, Hong Kong and Manila.
The Indonesian government is also developing several projects to upgrade rail routes, and in recent years local authorities have built new roads and invested in the improvement of public transport.
