We would like to inform you that the Hong Kong CAD (Civil Aviation Department) announced a new scheme for X-ray inspections, in order to enhance transportation safety and security. This provision will have an impact on all exported goods to all destinations from Hong Kong SAR.
The air cargo screenings will go up to 100% by June 30, 2021. Indeed, the Hong Kong CAD presented a 4-step timeframe to implement such measure, as reported in the table below:

* % of cargoes (by weight) required to be screened by RAs (for known cargoes consigned by existing known / account consignors)
