The situation is negatively impacting both on delivery time and on pricing. As a consequence, the entire intermodal freight forwarding sector is suffering for the difficulties that arise.
Carriers have announced a general trend towards price increase for both road and rail freight forwarding starting from 2019. The first cause of the mentioned increase is represented by higher salaries of drivers.
